New Sports Bar And Restaurant Opens In Warrington
Billed as a family-oriented restaurant and sports bar, the eatery is serving American-style dishes with a European twist.

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A new sports bar and restaurant opened its doors on Thursday at the Shops at Valley Square.
Gloria Sports & Spirits - billed as a family-oriented restaurant and sports bar - is serving American-style dishes with a European twist. Complementing the elevated food experience will be a menu of curated cocktails, wine, and beer.
Patch was the first to report on the new restaurant in July 2024 when the Warrington Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to approve the inter-municipal transfer of a liquor license from Middletown Township to the yet-to-be-named bar and restaurant.

Since then, the three partners in the project - Gary Cardi, Brad Daniels, and John Krinis — have been working to create a welcoming sports and entertainment-focused venue.
The partners, along with Valley Square, have invested more than a million dollars into the redevelopment of the restaurant and bar space located at the far end of the shopping center in a space formerly occupied by Bar Louie.

According to its website, Gloria is “Your Neighborhood Sports Bar: Reimagined.” It features a 60-seat bar, a 150-seat restaurant, and a 60-seat outdoor dining area.
Liquor license attorney Ed McHugh said the primary focus of the new establishment will be on the culinary end of the operation, with food sales making up 75 percent of the operation and alcohol sales amounting to 25 percent.

Chef Brad Daniels of Tresini in Ambler is taking the lead on the food end of the operation, which will feature dishes with “vibrant flavors and from heartfelt traditions.”
He has developed a menu that offers a mouth-watering selection of American favorites with a European twist, from snacks and sharables, including fresh mozzarella and prosciutto, fava hummus, and meatball marinara, to wings and brick oven macaroni and cheese with options like bacon and blue, truffle wild mushroom, cheesesteak, among others.
Other choices include chopped salads, 11 different pizza options, and hot plates including grilled salmon, half roast chicken, eggplant parmigiano, and bistro steak and potatoes.
Sandwich offerings include a tuna melt, Roman chicken, Italian Prime, a Half-Pound Smash, and a pickle back dog.
Chef Daniels brings years of kitchen experience to Gloria.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, N.Y., he was selected by the Chef Professors to receive the Brillat-Savarin highest achievement award. In the spring of 2011, Daniels accepted a pasta cook position at the James Beard-winning Osteria under Jeff Michaud and Marc Vetri.
As the Vetri family grew, so did Brad’s role. Shortly after being hired, he was named Sous Chef at Osteria, and then four years later he became Osteria’s first-ever Chef de Cuisine.
It was only a matter of time before the fire that started at his youth would drive him to open his own restaurant – and in 2019, the opportunity of a lifetime came knocking with the opening of Tresini.
"Come experience the vibrant atmosphere at Gloria Sports & Spirits, where delicious food meets the excitement of game day," said Daniels. "Join us for a delightful culinary adventure that brings together the best of Italian and American flavors in a welcoming setting."
Adding to the sports bar experience, the restaurateurs have incorporated golf simulators at the restaurant “to create a fun atmosphere” for its customers.
The simulators will allow golfers the opportunity to play major golf courses or just test their driving range ability by hitting a ball into a screen. They also offer virtual time bowling, playing bocci and baseball.
