Peace Fair To Showcase Bucks County Nonprofits, Artists
"The mission of the Peace Fair is to promote harmony in the home, the community, the environment and the world," organizers said.

LAHASKA, PA — The Peace Fair is set to return to Lahaska this weekend after it was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 21st annual Peace Fair is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Buckingham Quaker Meetinghouse on Route 202 in Lahaska.
The fair is set to feature local artists, craftsmen and fair-trade vendors while shining a spotlight on local organizations and people who promote peace and justice in Bucks County and beyond.
“The mission of the Peace Fair is to promote harmony in the home, the community, the environment and the world,” organizers said on the Peace Fair’s Facebook page.

More than a dozen vendors will be at the 21st annual Peace Fair on Saturday to sell their creations and wares, including hand-woven fabrics, paintings, pottery, eco-friendly products and much more. Many local nonprofits will also have booths at the fair to showcase their services and missions.
The Tookany Creek bluegrass band is set to perform its “sophisticated blend” of bluegrass, folk, country and swing music, with EcoMan (Rich McLaughlin) and Mindy Murray from River Drivers also on the schedule, organizers said.

There will also be games and activities for guests of all ages, as well as poetry readings, an open mic and a dunk tank.
The fair is a nonprofit event supported by vendor and exhibitor fees, contributions from local businesses, and donations from guests. Organizers are suggesting a $2 donation from each guest. Parking is free.
Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help set up for the 21st annual Peace Fair and run booths during the event. Local residents can also chip in by donating baked goods for the fair’s café.
