Doylestown Postpones Pedal-Palozza Fundraiser At Broad Commons
Doylestown Borough rescheduled event for June due to a forecast for rainy weather on May 13.

UPDATE: Due to the forecast of inclement weather for May 13, the borough has postponed Pedal-Palooza. The event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Doylestown Borough is gearing up for Pedal-Palooza, an action packed evening of bicycle activities at Broad Commons Park.
Sponsored by Jarrett Vaughan Builders and organized by the Doylestown Borough Parks and Recreation Department, the event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 with non-stop bicycle activities including:

- Bike races (slowest rider, slalom side-by-side and other challenges)
- Obstacle Course & Skills Zones
- Bike Limbo and Bubble Bike Wash
- Learn to Ride (Balance bike demos and how-to instructions for parents)
- Fix-a-Flat demos, maintenance tips, and bike checks
- Giveaways, bike decorations, and passport activities for kids
- Local vendors, bike-related community booths, music and food.
The suggested donation is $25 per family with all proceeds going toward a project to rehabilitate the pump track at Chapman Park. Additional donations are welcome at the event. This is not a drop-off event. Parents and guardians are required to stay with their children.
Funds raised at the event will benefit the rehabilitation and paving of the pump track at Chapman Park. The track is popular with riders of all ages and is a key reason Doylestown earned National Bicycle Friendly Community status. It's also the only pump track in Bucks County.

Doylestown Borough has committed $15,000 in its 2025 budget, plus materials and staff time toward the project with the community being asked to raise the balance of $35K.
