Perkasie Attorney Announces Candidacy For Bucks County Judge

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A local attorney has announced her bid for judge in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

Dianne Magee, an attorney with Grim, Biehn & Thatcher in Perkasie, served for almost 20 years as the solicitor for the Bucks County Area on Aging and is the current solicitor for the Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Office.

The Plumstead Township resident is a graduate of Stanford University and Duke Law School. Her main areas of practice include estate and trust administration, estate planning, elder law and Orphans' Court litigation and adoptions.

In addition to her legal experience, Magee is active in the community as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County and as president of the Bucks County SPCA. Magee was named the Bucks County YWCA 2019 Woman of the Year for Advocacy and Civic Engagement.

Magee is one of six candidates seeking the vacant judge seat in the November election. Other candidates include Tiffany-Thomas Smith, a Newtown attorney with her own family law practice; Amir Stark, a family law attorney in Doylestown; Dawn DiDonato Burke, a Lower Makefield attorney; Robert Repko, a Doylestown attorney; and Stephen Corr, a partner at Begley, Carlin & Mandio in Langhorne.
