PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between May 24 and May 31.
Monday, May 24
At 10:51 p.m., officers responded to a call on North Easton Road for an unconscious adult woman. When officers arrived on scene, they confirmed the woman's identity. After showing signs of intoxication, she was transported by Point Pleasant EMS to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Tuesday, May 25
At 12:01 p.m., a resident contacted police to report a fraud involving an email requesting she purchase multiple gift cards. The scammer used a fraudulent email account to contact the resident. A report was filed and the incident is under investigation.

At 2 p.m., officers responded to a home on Cephas Child Road after the resident reported a theft from the bed of his vehicle. The complainant stated the items were removed from his vehicle sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The missing items are Milwaukee power tools and batteries valued at $1,100. Wednesday, May 26
At 4:23 p.m., officers investigated a burglary at a home on State Park Road in which two Gazelle electric bicycles valued at $3,000 each and a battery powered DeWalt weed whacker were stolen. The items were last seen in a detached garage on Tuesday, May 25. Anyone with information can contact Officer Lawn at Rlawn@plumstead.gov or call (215) 766-8741.
A Philadelphia man was arrested and charged with felony access device fraud and felony theft by deception in connection with unauthorized transactions made out of a bank account from a business in Plumstead Township on March 20. Jamel Brown was arraigned by Judge Gary Gambardella, who set bail at $100,000. A hearing in the case is scheduled for June 14.
Thursday, May 27
At 3:17 p.m., a Plumstead Township resident contacted police to report a dog bite on Nancy Ward Circle. The dog owner left the area before information could be exchanged.
Saturday, May 29
At 5:53 p.m., a Plumstead Township resident contacted police to report a fraud involving a phone scam. The resident explained they received a call from someone who claimed to be in law enforcement saying they needed to satisfy an arrest warrant by paying $1,900 via Cash App. The resident then realized it was a scam.
Monday, May 31
At 11:36 a.m., officers responded to a home on Ferry Road for a reported domestic assault. Ian Thornton, 48, of New Hope, was taken into custody by responding officers for an active bench warrant and domestic assault. The victim was provided with a victim's rights packet.
