Plumstead Police Log: Man Flown To Hospital For Fall From Ladder

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the following incidents between June 7 and June 13.
June 7
At 2:07 p.m., officers responded to a home on Curly Hill Road for an adult male who was suffering from a seizure and a subsequent fall from a ladder. Point Pleasant EMS transported the male to a local hospital. The male was flown by a medical response team for sustaining head injuries from the fall.

At 3:58 p.m., officers responded to a residence on River Road for an adult female with change in mental status. The female was subsequently transported by Point Pleasant EMS to a local hospital for evaluation.
June 8

At 1:43 p.m., officers investigated a domestic dispute on Swamp Road as a result of a traffic accident. Officers were able to mediate the dispute and provided a courtesy transport to the male’s residence.
June 9
At 9:15 a.m., a Plumstead Township resident contacted the department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in her name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 11:33 am, officers placed the first lock box at a residence for the lock box program. The Plumstead Township Police Department’s residential lock box program is designed to expedite access to senior adults in their own homes during medical or other emergencies. The lockbox program also reduces the likelihood of property damaged caused by forced entry in response to an emergency call. The eligible participant will complete a Lockbox Program Application to the Plumstead Township Police Department. Applications can be picked up at the front desk of the Police Department or available at Plumstead.org. Completed applications can be dropped off, mailed to Plumstead Police at 5186 Stump Road Pipersville, PA 18947 or emailed to Sferri@plumstead.gov.
June 11
At 7:20 p.m., officers investigated a call for an unwanted subject at a business establishment on North Easton Road. Officers were able to speak with all parties involved and mediate the situation. The unwanted subject was advised he is no longer permitted to return to the location.
June 12
At 5:41 a.m., officers were dispatched for a check-the-wellbeing of an adult female on Old Easton Road who was showing signs of change in mental status. Upon arrival no further medical evaluation was needed and officers were able to mediate the situation.
At 9:21 p.m., officers investigated a single vehicle traffic accident in the parking lot of Wawa on Easton Road. Upon arrival the driver of the vehicle attempted to flee the scene on foot. Officers successfully secured the adult male, and he was evaluated by Point Pleasant EMS. He was released into the care of family members following his evaluation.
June 13
At 6:03 p.m., officers investigated a domestic dispute between husband and wife on Valley Park Road. Officers were able to mediate the situation and no further action was required.
