Homicide Investigation Underway After Man Found Dead In Bucks Co.

Police are investigating a male homicide that occurred overnight in Bucks County.

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, PA — Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a homicide that occurred overnight in Bucks County, the district attorney's office announced Thursday.

Bucks County detectives, Richland Township police and Pennsylvania State Police were called to the 500 block of East Pumping Station Road in Richland Township for a male homicide that happened sometime overnight.

Detectives are interviewing people found in the area about their involvement with the incident.

Detective Sergeant Raymond Aleman with the Richland Township Police Department told reporters that a state trooper saw something on the side of the road around midnight when they decided to pull over, at which point they discovered the body. The identity of the victim — who is reportedly not from the area — is being withheld until family members can be notified.

The DA's office did not offer any other details of the incident and said their investigation remains ongoing.
