Police Make Arrests For Assault, DUI: Doylestown Twp. Crime Report
Police also investigated seven incidents of fraud and cited a man for making threats against former fast food co-worker.
DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Doylestown Township Police handled 902 calls for service during the month of June. There were 46 traffic accident investigations. And police issued 69 traffic citations and 189 traffic warnings.
Assault
- On June 21, officers responded to a residence on Cherry Lane for domestic disturbance in progress. Through investigation a 34-year-old man was identified, charges were filed, and the subject was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

- During the month of June, there were seven fraud investigations. Remember that no legitimate organization will ask for payment through gift cards or Bitcoin deposits. Residents are also advised to use extreme caution when taking phone calls from those identifying themselves as computer representatives advising them of viruses on which they can assist.
Driving Under the Influence
- On June 8 at 2:28 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle make several traffic violations. A traffic stop was initiated and the 23-year-old female driver displayed signs of being intoxicated. Through investigation, the female operator was taken into custody for DUI, and charges were filed via summons.
- On Thursday, June 10, a 37-year-old man was reported to be driving a vehicle while intoxicated at the Central Bucks YMCA. Doylestown Township officers arrived on scene and through investigation confirmed that the male operator was intoxicated. The male was taken into custody, and charges were filed via summons.
Disorderly Conduct

- On June 15, officers responded to the Burger King located at 560 N. Main Street for a report of threats being made to an employee by a former employee. The actor, a 28-year-old man was identified and issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
