Public Urination, Drunkenness In Doylestown: December Police Log

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department responded to numerous incidents and made several arrests over the month of December.

Friday, Dec. 3

A 21-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested on E. Butler Avenue in New Britain Borough on a charge of disorderly conduct after engaging in a fight at Delaware Valley University. A citation was filed.

Saturday, Dec. 4

A 26-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested for disorderly conduct on N. Main Street in Doylestown for public urination. A citation was filed.

A 22-year-old Warrington man was arrested for public drunkenness after police found him asleep on the stairs on N. Main Street in Doylestown. He had bloodshot eyes, smelled strongly of alcohol, and had urinated on himself. A citation was issued.

Saturday, Dec. 11

A 24-year-old Doylestown man was arrested after a traffic top for traveling the wrong way on W. State Street in Doylestown at a high speed. He was unable to complete simple tasks and was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A criminal complaint was filed.

Monday, Dec. 13

A 27-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested on E. Butler Avenue in Chalfont for weapons violations after he tried to buy a firearm and falsified information. He was arraigned with bail set at $25,000 unsecured with conditions.

Tuesday, Dec. 14

A 43-year-old Doylestown man was cited for an ordinance violation for parking his trailer in the street in front of his house after numerous warnings notifying him of the violation. A citation was issued.

Thursday, Dec. 23

A 23-year-old West Chester man was arrested in Chalfont for an ordinance violation after soliciting for Solar Xchange without a permit. A citation was issued.

Friday, Dec. 24

A 23-year-old Lansdale man was arrested in Doylestown for disorderly conduct after police saw him urinating in an alley. A citation was filed.

A 22-year-old Chalfont man was arrested in Doylestown for disorderly conduct after police saw him urinating in a stairwell. A citation was issued.

Sunday, Dec. 26

A 21-year-old Doylestown woman was arrested for simple assault after police were called to a dispute over personal items which turned physical and resulted in minor injuries. A criminal complaint was filed.

Tuesday, Dec. 28

A 23-year-old Dublin woman was cited for an ordinance violation on S. Main Street after she contacted police to assist her while she was locked out of her car. Once police were able to unlock the car there was a strong odor coming from the vehicle and she admitted to possessing a small amount of marijuana. A citation was issued.

Wednesday, Dec. 29

A 21-year-old Glenside man was arrested on N. Main Street in Doylestown for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police approached him and another man preparing to fight in the street. He appeared to be highly intoxicated with bloodshot eyes, and was unsteady on his feet. Citations were issued.

A 20-year-old Ambler man was arrested for public drunkenness and false identification on N. Main Street in Doylestown after police caught him engaging in a fight. When approached, he fled the scene. When police caught up to him he produced a fake ID, appeared heavily intoxicated, had bloodshot eyes, and was very unsteady on his feet. Citations were issued.

Friday, Dec. 31

A 31-year-old New Britain man was arrested on Pueblo Road in New Britain for DUI after police found him sleeping in his car. He appeared heavily intoxicated, failed sobriety tests, and was transported to Doylestown Hospital. A criminal complaint was filed.

A 28-year-old Chalfont man was arrested on S. Main Street in Doylestown after police smelled a strong odor from his car. When approached and asked about it he admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle. A citation was filed.

A 22-year-old Telford woman was cited for disorderly conduct for public urination on N. Main Street in Doylestown. A citation was filed.
