Pulled From Crashed Car, Man 'Became Combative': Plumstead Police

Wednesday, Dec. 22

10:35 p.m. — Officers responded to a two-car traffic accident on Swamp Road. The driver of a gray 2012 Toyota Tacoma became combative with officers and EMS crews once removed from his car. He was taken to an area hospital via ambulance where he was asked for a legal blood draw, but refused. The investigation is still ongoing.

Thursday, Dec. 23

10 a.m. — Police responded to multiple businesses along Easton Road for theft from vehicles. Upon arrival officers spoke with business employees, who advised that at some point in the beginning of the week vehicles had catalytic convertors cut from them. Surveillance video was requested, and the incidents are under investigation.

10:51 a.m. — Officers conducted a wellbeing check of an adult woman on Durham Road who was showing signs of danger to herself. Central Bucks EMS responded, and the woman refused treatment.

6:30 p.m. — Plumstead Township Officer Jeffrey Moffett, who is part of the Bucks County Homicide by Vehicle Task Force, responded to the area of Street Road to assist Warrington Township Police Department with a two-car crash investigation that resulted in serious injuries.

Saturday, Dec. 25

6:10 p.m. — Officers responded to a call for an adult woman in the roadway of Old Easton Road who was conscious and alert but was exhibiting unusual behavior. Central Bucks EMS responded to the scene and took her to a local hospital for evaluation.

Sunday, Dec. 26

12:19 p.m. — Police investigated a domestic dispute involving an intoxicated woman and her mother on Easton Road. The woman was transported by Point Pleasant Plumsteadville EMS to a local hospital for evaluation. The S.T.A.R. program was explained and offered, and consent was signed to participate in the program. Referral was sent to an outpatient treatment center for evaluation.

8:03 p.m. — Police responded to a medical emergency for an adult man with troubled breathing on Summer Hill Drive. Upon arrival, officers saw the man lying on the floor in cardiac arrest. Plumstead officers, Central Bucks EMS, Point Pleasant EMS, and a Plumsteadville firefighter began administering CPR. They were unsuccessful and the man died from natural causes.

10:39 p.m. — Police investigated a complaint of a suspicious man walking barefoot in a business parking lot. The man was transported to a local hospital for evaluation for showing signs of danger to himself or others.
