DOYLESTOWN, PA — The annual PumpkinFest of Doylestown will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum of Bucks County.

Featuring local artists and pumpkin carvers, participants will be carving large pumpkins into glowing masterpieces and putting them on display for all to see.

The event will be the 29th annual PumpkinFest that the organizer, the CB Cares Educational Foundation, has held in Doylestown. CB Cares works on improving the quality of education for students and parents in the Central Bucks School District.

Proceeds from the event will be used for this initiative, along with other efforts to keep children in the school district safe.

"CB Cares Educational Foundation prides itself on being a developmental compass for our students, families, and the community," the foundation wrote on its website.

Kimberly Cambra, Executive Director of CB Cares, has been the sole person planning and executing the event for a number of years, as she "does every detail to ensure this tradition" goes on in the Doylestown area. 2021 marks her 15th year of service to the CBSD community.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. The event will feature food trucks, games, and live music being headlined by Cherry Lane Band of Doylestown, as well as performances from the Doylestown School of Rock.
