DOYLESTOWN, PA — This weekend is all about the pumpkin as CB Cares brings its hugely popular Pumpkinfest to Doylestown for another year.

In what’s promising to be an amazing weekend of artistry and fun, the two-day event kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1 to 8 p.m. and continues on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works off of Swamp Road.

Highlighting Saturday's event will be pumpkin carving from 1 to 6 p.m. and Jack-o'-Lantern viewing at night. Visitors are invited to watch throughout the day as professional and amateur carvers turn pumpkins into works of art and then experience their transformation into lighted masterpieces when night falls.

The carvers are given six hours to transform incredibly huge pumpkins into works of art and then they are judged by a panel of celebrity judges who walk through and decide who the grand prize winner will be. There’s also a chance for the public to weigh in with the People's Choice awards.

Saturday's activities also include Touch a Tractor, face painting, scarecrow stuffing, live music, arts, crafts, and cultural displays. Additionally, there will be free TileWorks tours from 1 to 4 p.m., featuring trinkets, and spooky surprises.

The fun continues on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. with a display of lighted Jack O'Lanterns, Trunk or Treat (candy baskets at every table at the festival), youth category carving contest, food, live music, and more. Youngsters are encouraged to come dressed in costume.

Admission is $15 (general admission), free for kids three and under, $5 (ages 4 to 12), and $25 for a family pass (up to five family members from the same household). Passes are good for each day.
Proceeds benefit the CB Cares Educational Foundation.
