Quinoa Closing Its Doors At The End Of January In Doylestown
"Let's make these final weeks full of good food, great memories, and heartfelt moments together," the owners said on Facebook.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — After more than a decade in business on East State Street, Quinoa Peruvian and Mexican Restaurant will be turning off its stoves and closing its doors later this month due to the increasing cost of operation.
“It’s with mixed emotions that we announce that January 2025 will be the final month of operation for Quinoa,” the Egoavil and Anguiano family announced in late December. “This decision wasn’t easy, but we’re excited to pursue new adventures and opportunities that lie ahead.”
While the restaurant survived and actually thrived during the pandemic thanks to its loyal customer base and a willingness by the owners to adjust to changing circumstances, the increasing cost of operation and inflationary pressures have proven more challenging.

The restaurant’s final day of operation will be Sunday, January 26.

According to Jack Egoavil, the family is "going to take a couple months to figure things out," but he said they will be looking for a new location in Doylestown where they hope to once again fire up its stoves and bring its Peruvian and Mexican cuisine to the countyseat.
“We would love to find a new location in Doylestown," said Jack. “We have a following here. We love the people of Doylestown. It’s part of our family,” he said. “It’s just a matter of sometimes things don’t work out the way you want it too,” he said.
In its message to the Doylestown community, the Egoavil family thanks its customers “for all the unforgettable memories. We are forever grateful for the connections we’ve made and the trust you’ve placed in us. We’ll cherish this chapter of our journey forever.
“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you,” they added. “Your kind words and encouragement mean the world to us,” the family said.
The Egoavil family also operate El Tule in Lambertville and the Latin Pot in Dublin, both of which remain in operation and are not affected by the decision to close Quinoa.
"When we made our announcement, some people thought every restaurant was closing," said Jack. "We want to make sure they understand that only Quinoa is closing.
"We have appreciated all the love and support throughout the years," said Jack. "While this location is closing, Latin Pot in Dublin and El Tule in Lambertville are still open. We are still looking for a new location in Doylestown to open Quinoa again. We're not going to go anywhere."
Between now and closing day, hours of operation at Quinoa are Tuesday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Jack is recommending patrons make reservations to assure seating. "We're going to do the best that we can to accommodate everyone until January 26."
