DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — While some Bucks County residents go up early for Black Friday shopping, one group of devoted shoppers waited outside another store for special, one-time-only offerings.

Record Store Day — held twice a year — was the highlight for vinyl record collectors throughout the region on Friday, and fans flocked to Siren Records and other participating record stores to grab releases by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Prince, The Band, and record players designed from the new movie "Wicked: For Good."

Other record stores throughout Bucks County either participated in Record Store Day or held sales to support the special day for vinyl record collectors.
