Rental Car Investigation Leads To Fugitive's Arrest In Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — An investigation by Warrington Police into an unreturned rental car has led to the arrest of a fugitive wanted by the U.S. Marshals Office.

In November, a Warrington officer began investigating a car that was rented from Avis in September but had not been returned.

The officer spoke with 50-year-old Otis Matthew Johnson in the 2200 block of Pileggi Road. A check of Johnson’s information revealed an active warrant from the U.S. Marshals.

Johnson, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody, transported to the station for positive identification, and later transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
