Restaurant Creates Dynamic New Dining Space In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Known for offering a variety of atmospheres within its historic two-level destination, Maxwell's On Main (MOM's) has reimagined its first-floor dining room.

The now dynamic space, once centered around moody Victorian booth seating, has been transformed with a modern vibrancy and more ways to enjoy fall gatherings.

Renovations were completed between February and June 2025 by Dimensional Contractors.

Leading the transformation is a new full-service bar with an additional raw bar concept.

“We wanted to shake up this room and provide a new kind of casual and versatile dining experience for our guests," says Nathan Hugill, co-owner of Maxwell's On Main.

In partnership with Indian Ridge Provisions, MOM’s is now one of the only spots in Doylestown serving oysters — with a two-for-one special every Tuesday starting at 4 p.m. This addition, as well as MOM's signature 'American fare with southern flair,' can still be enjoyed seven days a week.

At the bar, a seasonally minded selection of non-alcoholic draft cocktails have been added to the menu by bartender Kevin Creedon. Each can be "spiked how you like it" with a spirit of choice. Alice's Cider features cranberry, dried apple, citrus peel, demerara baking spices, juniper, sage, California and ancho chilies. Kevin recommends infusing rye whiskey to finish it off!

The team at MOM's also welcomes guests to bring their private holiday party into the redesigned downstairs space, or to the brickwall ballroom upstairs depending on size, function, and atmosphere.

Through each of these updates, Maxwell’s On Main continues to grow alongside the community it has served for more than 15 years. Whether it's oysters on a Tuesday, sipping a seasonal cocktail, or
gathering for a holiday celebration, guests will find the same spirit that has long made MOM’s a local
