Road Rage Incident At Jamison Elementary In Warwick Under Investigation

Police said staff from the school blocked one of the vehicles from fleeing through the playground, which was occupied by children.

WARWICK TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Warwick Township are investigating a road rage incident Monday afternoon on Land Road that entered the Jamison Elementary School parking lot near where children were playing.

At 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 2000 block of Land Road for a report of a traffic disturbance. They soon learned that two motorists - one driving a sedan and one driving a white sport motorcycle - had engaged in a road rage-related dispute.

Police said the two drivers began chasing each other with the motorcycle attempting to flee through the rear parking lot at Jamison Elementary School.

The incident is actively being investigated by the police department.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicles and the drivers involved are asked to call police at 215-343-6102 during business hours, or 215-328-8502 after hours.”

On the police department's Facebook page, Central Bucks School Board member Jenine Fetscher Zdanowicz posted her thanks to the Jamison staff "for acting so quickly and bravely to protect the kids. And thank you to the Warwick P.D. for responding and working to find the people who did this."

One parent posted that her son, who had been on the playground at school when the incident happened, "came home very shaken up by it."
