Borough resident Larry Thompson bought the old borough hall at 57 W. Court St for $2.3 million in October, according to a report in the Bucks County Herald. He's considering turning the building into a "boutique-ish hotel" or an edifice that will "be useful to all of Doylestown."
The new borough hall will be located at 10 Doyle St.

The old hall will close between Dec. 21 and Dec. 31 to facilitate the relocation. The borough said the lobby at 57 W. Court Street will remain open for the drop off of water bill and parking ticket payments, and the drop off and pick up of permit applications and permits.
