Several Bucks County court staff employees recently tested positive for COVID-19, county officials said Monday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Several Bucks County court staff employees recently tested positive for COVID-19, county officials said Monday.

Officials did not comment on the number of positive cases, only saying they occurred "very recently."

The court consulted with the Bucks County Department of Health to begin a contact tracing process to determine the origin of the exposure.

"Contact tracing was done and anyone who had exposure to the compromised court staff member or members has already been contacted by the Court and/or the BCDH and advised of what procedures to follow," County Court Administrator Stephen Heckman said in a news release Monday. "The mechanism of the exposure has been determined and has been addressed."

The court will continue to adhere to social distancing protocols and sanitization procedures, he added, and the Justice Center remains open.
