New Snow Accumulation Estimates For Bucks County's Winter Storm
While snowfall of 4-8 inches or even more is possible in our area, the weather service's weekend forecast could still change dramatically.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A winter storm is forecasted to hit Bucks County Friday night, bringing cold temperatures and a dumping of snow. Exactly how much we'll get still remains to be seen, but new predictions are available for weekend snowfall in our area.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Lower Bucks County, including the Doylestown area, in effect from 7 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Upper Bucks.
The forecast in inches is "volatile," according to the weather service, and is subject to change as the storm moves through New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Snow. Areas of blowing snow. Total snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches. Blustery, cooler. Near steady temperature around 20. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Brisk, colder with lows around 9 above. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Wind chill values as low as 3 below.
Sunday
Sunny. Highs in the mid 20s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Wind chill values as low as 3 below in the morning.
