DOYLESTOWN, PA — Without community leaders, Doylestown wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these often unsung community leaders and celebrate their contributions.

This submission comes from Beth Guerra, a Doylestown reader who nominated Tara Stoop.

What does this community leader do?

Sara runs Between Friends Outreach, a volunteer non-profit serving the at-risk community.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

She is able to assist thousands in our community - her organization supplies holiday gifts, food, shelter, and assistance with bills. She opened a house for those waiting for permanent housing. She believes anyone can make a difference with kindness.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

She never takes credit for any recognition she gets, but it is because of her leadership all this is able to happen!
