Three Vehicles Sought in Fatal Bucks Co. Park Shooting

Detectives are looking to identify the drivers and passengers of three vehicles that were in the area of Nockamixon State Park on Saturday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County detectives are looking to identify the drivers and passengers of three vehicles that were in the area of Nockamixon State Park when a young man was shot and killed there on Saturday.

Police are looking to speak to the drivers of the vehicles who may have been potential witnesses to a fatal shooting that occurred at the Quakertown park on Saturday, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said Tuesday.

The vehicles are described as a champagne-colored 2000 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer SUV, a silver 2000 Toyota Camry or Avalon Sedan and a black Mercedes SUV.

Jason Kutt, 18, of Sellersville, was watching the sunset with his girlfriend at around 5:15 p.m. when he was shot in the back of the head from about 550 feet away, the DA's Office said.

During a news conference Monday, District Attorney Matt Weintraub said that hunting was allowed at the state park the day Kutt was shot. The police investigation remains ongoing.

"We need to understand how Jason Kutt died and we need your help to do that," Weintraub said.
