Unsafe Use Of Fireworks Under Investigation In Buckingham

Police report multiple incidents of fireworks being shot off at Hansell Park.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Buckingham Township Police Department is investigating four incidents involving the unsafe use of fireworks at Hansell Park, the most recent happening Tuesday morning between 12:30 and 7 a.m.

The incidents have resulted in the destruction of trash cans and have posed a risk to public safety at the park, police said.

“We would like to remind the community of the importance of fireworks safety and responsible behavior, especially among juveniles,” police said.

“We urge all members of the community to report any incidents of fireworks misuse or property damage to the police department. By working together, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable summer for everyone.”
