How do you know the teacher?
She is my son’s teacher
What does this person teach?
TOPSS, transition for special needs children from High school to work force/ college
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
She is amazing with the special needs kids. Teaching them important life skills, like cooking for themselves, shopping for themselves, ordering food by themselves and important social skills needed to function in a typical workplace or environment.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
She’s done so much for these kids in a short period of time she’s given. She teaches the special needs kids how to take public transportation, and how to build a resume to give to future employers. She always upbeat and positive and takes the kids all over to get them integrated within the community.
