Upstairs Gallery Revival Show To Spotlight Bucks Co. Artists

The two-weekend show will feature an in-person exhibit by 14 artists, a "Meet the Artist" event, and a special book signing.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Upstairs Gallery, formerly of Peddler’s Village and currently an online gallery, is returning for a two-weekend, in-person show.

The Upstairs Gallery Revival Art Show will be hosted by the Exhibit B Gallery, 105 North Main Street, Souderton, on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8, 9, 15, and 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Upstairs Gallery was founded in the early 1960s. Originally, a second-floor gallery in New Hope, the gallery moved to Peddler’s Village in 1967 and occupied three different locations in the village.

After more than 50 years in the village, the gallery moved to an online gallery format during the COVID epidemic and has continued to offer fine art created by Bucks County artists.

The weekend shows will feature works by 14 artists: Cathy Biggs, James Feehan, Elissa Goldberg, Addie Hocynec, Deb Hoeffner, Evelyn King, Maggie Leiby, Helen Lee Meyers, Aurelia Nieves-Callwood, Margie Perry, Sue Ann Rainey, Susan Roseman, Beth Schoenleber, and Mary Weber. Included will be paintings, pottery, photography, and more.

A “Meet the Artists” event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 12-4. In addition, illustrator Deb Hoeffner, will be doing a book signing on Nov. 15 from 12 to 4 p.m. Her illustrated books feature stories of rescued animals and other subjects.
