West Branch Park Vehicle Break-In Under Investigation

NEW BRITAIN, PA - Authorities are investigating a vehicle break-in at West Branch Park on Monday evening.

The break-in took place between 7:13 and 7:35 p.m., New Britain police said in a statement.

The unknown offender(s) smashed the driver-side rear window of a gray sedan while it was parked near the playground, police said. A brown leather backpack was stolen from the back seat.

Those who noticed anything suspicious at the park Monday are urged to notify the New Britain Township Police Department or submit an anonymous tip.
