Winery & Bistro Closes Its Doors In Downtown Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — The Waters Edge Winery & Bistro in the heart of Doylestown Borough has closed its doors.
The restaurant, which opened a year and a half ago inside the newly-renovated 50 North Main Street building at the intersection of Court Street, Shewell Avenue, and North Main, shut down its winery and restaurant operations last week without notice.
Bucks County residents Eric and Nicole Landolfi had high hopes for the unique Waters Edge Winery & Bistro concept, which they brought to Pennsylvania in March 2024.

"I can't wait for people to be able to enjoy the labor of our love and the fruits of our labor," said Eric Landolfi just days before opening. “We are thrilled to create a space where our neighbors can enjoy handcrafted wines and unique tasting experiences while creating lasting memories in the heart of Doylestown.”
Their new craft winery and bistro franchise boasted commanding views of the heart of the county seat and offered guests handcrafted wines fermented on site from juice shipped in from well-known vineyards from around the world, including the famed wine-producing regions of California and Italy.

Waters Edge also boasted a 75-seat dining area, a full kitchen, and a 10-seat tasting bar. The bistro served artisanal selections of “farm to table” concepts, including appetizers, tapas
(small plates), fresh ingredient salads, burgers, panini, flatbreads, sandwiches, desserts, and more, many of them perfected during Eric's years in the food service business.
The winery and bistro was located on the basement and first floor levels of the building, which is owned by Worth & Worth and once housed the local library and was the former home of the Bucks County Department of Human Services.
