Women's Retail And Med Spa Opens In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Two cousins are using their respective talents in the retail and nursing industry to create a retail and med spa in Doylestown.

Lisa Gifford is a certified registered nurse who always dreamed of opening her own medical spa. Her cousin, Joann Baer, is a veteran of the retail industry, so it only seemed natural for them to join forces.

"We decided we wanted to open up our own business," Gifford said.

"About two Christmases ago over a bottle of wine," Baer interjects.

They even combined their first names to make it happen: Joli Boutique was born.

The store offers quick spa treatments alongside a trendy shopping experience for its customers; or, as Gifford describes it: "We've created that place in Doylestown where it's 'Girls' Night Out' every time you come."

Ladies can book the store for the evening for their girlfriends to shop and get skincare treatments, Gifford said. "We're a judge free zone."

The pair is holding its grand opening celebration in the Barn Plaza, 1745 S. Easton Rd., Doylestown, on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
