YMCA's Free Youth Wheelchair Basketball Program Enrolling For January
River Crossing YMCA is enrolling youth of all ages for the free We All Wheel Pathway program in Doylestown, which begins Jan. 13.
DOYLESTOWN - River Crossing YMCA is currently enrolling youth of all ages for the free Winter 2025 We All Wheel Pathway program in Doylestown, which begins on Jan. 13.
We All Wheel is the free YMCA staff-led, donor-supported youth wheelchair basketball program that includes drills, practice and games. We All Wheel is a fun and challenging opportunity for physically disabled youth and their able-bodied peers to play together. Wheelchairs and instruction are provided as well.
“The best part about We All Wheel is kids like me can play basketball with other kids who are not disabled,” shared Nick Stickel, a regular participant in the program who has limited use of his legs. He attends with his able-bodied friend Carter, who said, “This is a sport I can play with Nick, and make new friends who have different kinds of disabilities.” You can watch Nick and Carter share their story here.
