Youth Fishing Derby Casts Off Saturday In Doylestown
The free event is presented by the Friends of the Borough Dam, Doylestown Borough, and the Doylestown Rotary Club.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A free Opening Day Youth Fishing Derby will cast off on Saturday, April 5 starting at 8 a.m. at the Doylestown Borough Dam at Fanny Chapman Park.
The opening day event is free for children age 16 and younger. There will be free food, including burgers, hot dogs, soda, and refreshments.
In addition to the opening day derby, a fishing derby for seniors (65 and older), veterans and people with physical disabilities takes place on May 3 at 8 a.m. Rods and bait will be provided if needed. Plus, there will be free sandwiches. The rain date is May 4.

The derby is sponsored by the Friends of the Borough Dam, The Doylestown Rotary Club, and the Borough of Doylestown.
