Man Shoots In-Laws While Children Hide In House: Reports

The incident happened Tuesday night.

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA — Police are investigating a double homicide in which a man killed his in-laws while his two children were hiding in the house, according to reports.

Xiaomin Fei, 34, of Nazareth, was charged with murder, burglary, reckless endangerment, and related offenses for the incident in Palmer Township on Tuesday night.

NBC Philadelphia reported that Fei shot and killed his in-laws.

The Palmer Township Police Department responded shortly before 7 p.m. to the unit block of Glasgow Way for a domestic in progress.

Police found the front door open, with a man standing there holding a handgun.

After several verbal commands, Fei put the handgun down and was taken into custody without further incident.

Police found a man and a woman on the main floor, with the woman later pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

Police also found two unharmed children, under the age of five, secure in another room.

Fei was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Capobianco, and committed to the Northampton County Prison without bail. He will have a court date at a later time.
