These state and city inspections show which neighborhood spots are fully compliant and which need fixes, helping you decide where to eat and what concerns were already corrected on-site.
   

2. Landlord-tenant program to launch soon in Easton. What to expect. (lehighvalleylive.com) — Easton is launching a new landlord-tenant engagement program on Jan. 1, 2026 to improve rental housing standards and communication across city neighborhoods. Landlords can earn a fee discount by completing training, while both landlords and tenants gain access to workshops, digital manuals, and an app offering guidance on legal compliance, maintenance, and renters’ rights.
   

3. Pa. High School Field Hockey Coaches Association announces All-State teams (pennlive.com) — Several Easton Area High School field hockey players earned spots on Pennsylvania’s All-State teams, highlighting local talent on a highly competitive statewide list. The long roster showcases standout athletes in all classifications, with Easton Area represented on first team, second team, and honorable mention.
   

4. Palmer Township woman charged in financial exploitation of three elderly victims (wfmz.com) — A caregiver from Palmer Township is accused of stealing money, credit card funds, and jewelry from three elderly clients in Northampton County, including a 1948 Easton class ring that couldn’t be recovered. Investigators say she allegedly forged checks, made unauthorized purchases, and repeatedly pawned jewelry before being jailed on $100,000 bail.
