Accident Shuts Down Route 22

WFMZ reports that an overturned vehicle near the 25^th Street Exit in Palmer Township has shut Eastbound Route 22.

The accident occurred at about 10 p.m. Sunday, closing the highway from Route 33 to the 25^th Street Exit.

Emergency radio reports originally indicated it might be a fatal accident, but WFMZ reports this morning that the driver was rescued and flown to the hospital. There's no word on the driver's condition.
