Boys & Girls Club Says Goodbye to Summer

Future Stars Summer Camp wraps up its 2013 season in Easton.

Easton area kids go back to school on next week, and at the city's Boys & Girl's Club, that meant the end of the club's summer camp.

Club members celebrated the occasion with Fantastic Friday!, the annual end-of-camp party.

That meant basketball games, a water balloon challenge, face painting, a puppet show, a moon bounce and a DJ.

There were also animals: a few pet snakes, tortoises and a lizard brought by resident Danielle Flowers, and a demonstration from the Easton K-9 unit.

The camp served over 230 children this summer over 10 weeks for a mix of traditional summer camp activity and field trips.
