$10,000 in Heroin Seized During Easton Drug Raids
Three people arrested in simultaneous raids Friday in Easton.

Easton police say investigators seized crack, heroin and marijuana during three simultaneous city drug raids Friday morning.
Police served search warrants at 740 W. Wilkes-Barre St., 20 N. Ninth St. and a garage at 228 N. 14th St., according to a news release.
Two people -- Michael Ayala, 43, and Mikaela Ayala, 19 -- were taken into custody at the Ninth Street address after crack, drug paraphernalia and $2,900 in cash were found at the property.
Michael Ayala will be charged with possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver. The younger Ayala will be cited via summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
At the Wilkes-Barre Street property, police arrested Mark Parks Sr., 51, after finding $10,000 worth of heroin and $3,000 worth of marijuana.
Police also seized four vehicles and a motorcycle connected to the case. No injuries were reported.Â
The raids were carried out by the city's Vice Narcotics Unit, Special Response Unit, and the state police's Special Emergency Response Team.
