Easton Drug Murder Trial Ends With Guilty Verdict
New York City resident Naheem Adams faces decades in prison for killing of George Jeter.

A Northampton County jury deliberated for about four hours Thursday before finding New York resident Naheem Adams guilty of murder, according to published reports.
Adams had been on trial all week for shooting and killing George Jeter last summer in the 1400 block of Butler Street in July 2012.
He was found guilty of third-degree murder and faces 20 to 40 years in prison, according to the Morning Call.
Prosecutors had argued that Adams, 21, and Jeter, 28, were rival drug dealers and that Adams had killed Jeter in a dispute over customers.
Defense attorneys had argued that the prosecution had only circumstantial evidence and nothing to tie Adams to the scene of the crime.
As Adams was led from the courtroom, a supporter called out, "You got the wrong guy," the Express-Times reported.
Jeter was one of six homicide victims in the city last year, the most violent year in Easton in at least four decades.
