Easton Farmers' Market Celebrates Strawberry Season With Live Show

EASTON, PA — The Easton Farmers' Market is set to celebrate summer and strawberry season with a special performance of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," on Saturday, June 3rd. Festivities will take place from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Scott Park, along Larry Holmes Dr.

Presented by Capital Blue, this event is part of a larger celebration of the strawberry season, featuring an abundance of fresh, locally grown strawberries and delectable sweet treats. Visitors to the market can indulge in the juicy sweetness of locally grown strawberries.

The vendors will offer a wide variety of strawberry-themed treats, ranging from classic strawberry shortcakes and pies to refreshing smoothies and artisanal ice creams.

Strawberry Day goers are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the occasion by donning their finest strawberry attire to participate in the "Berry Cute Contests." Prizes will be awarded for the cutest babies, adults, kids, and even pups.

The highlight of the day will be the live performance of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. It will be performed live on the Scott Park Stage at 11 a.m.
