Easton Filmmaker's 'Hostage' Set For Release Next Week

Horror movie is second feature from director Michael Yurinko.

Hostage, the latest movie from Easton filmmaker Michael Yurinko, will be released next week.

The horror film, shot in the Poconos, is Yurinko's second feature, and will be available Sept. 10 via WalMart, Red Box, Target, iTunes, Amazon and Netflix. It's also due to be shown on Syfy and Chiller.

Hostage stars Holt Boggs as Eugene, a grieving father who escapes to his family cabin only to find himself snowed in and "not alone," as the movie's plot summary puts it.

It's the second movie from Yurinko. His first, Fading, was shot in Allentown and released in 2003.

His next movie, the sci-fi thriller October 30, is due next year.
