Easton Will Honor Wrestling Champ Jordan Oliver

City will hold a parade for two-time national NCAA wrestling champion Sunday afternoon.

Easton will honor city native/college wrestling champion Jordan Oliver with a parade Sunday afternoon.

Oliver, a two-time national NCAA wrestling champion, holds the University of Oklahoma record for most wins by a fall.

"Jordan's accomplishments on the wrestling mat are fantastic but his accomplishments off the mat even more deserving of recognition," Mayor Sal Panto said in a news release.

Sunday's parade will begin at 1 p.m. in the former Perkins lot along South Third Street, and continue to a ceremony in Centre Square.

The mayor's office asks any youth group or individual who wants to participate to call 610-250-6610.

The city held a parade for Oliver in 2011 following his first national title during his sophomore year.
