Extreme Heat, Veggie Van Ahead This Week

Good morning everyone. It's Sunday, so let's look at what the week ahead has in store for us.

First off, it's going to be hot and humid all week. The National Weather Service says the heat index could hit the 100 mark this week, especially Wednesday and Thursday.

Also this week:

  • The Veggie Van is in town! Easton's West Ward Neighborhood Partnership will bring fresh vegetables—as well as recipes—to Centennial Park Tuesday night from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Easton's Zoning Hearing Board meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.
  • Movies in the Park will offer The Lorax at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Nevin Park on College Hill.
  • Two exhibits open Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Nurture Nature Center: The Art of Nature Journaling, and Alison Bessesdotter's art exhibit "Flow."
