Former Clerk Stole From Wilson's Sewer Fund, Police Say
Lisa Guth facing felony charges after allegedly taking $2,600 from Wilson sewer account.

Wilson police have charged the borough's former clerk with stealing at least $2,600 from the community's sewer fund.
Lisa Marie Guth was arraigned Tuesday on charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of funds, and theft by deception.
According to court records, police began investigating last month when a resident reported a discrepancy with their bill. When police looked closer, they found other billing discrepancies.
Police say Guth, 48 of Williams Township admitted during an interview to taking money that residents had paid to the borough.Â
Court records say Guth deposited the money, which came in the form of cash payments, in her own accounts, and used it for everyday purchases.Â
Guth turned herself into police and was arraigned Tuesday morning before District Judge Richard Yetter. She was free on $25,000 bail.
