GIANT Food Stores Donates $6,838 to ProJeCt of Easton Food Bank

On Friday, September 21, the staff of the ProJeCt of Easton Food Bank and GIANT Food Stores celebrated a successful Bag Hunger Campaign with a $6,838 check presentation at the GIANT store in Easton.

The Bag Hunger Campaign ran from August 28 thru September 8 across all 171 GIANT Food Stores with a grand total of $773,231 collected from all stores. GIANT Food Store customers donated to their local food bank during checkout through the Bag Hunger in-store campaign. Funds collected will go to different food banks and over 100 pantries across the market served by GIANT Food Stores. The Bag Hunger Campaign is only one of many ways that GIANT Food Stores supports the ProJeCt of Easton Food Bank’s mission to end hunger in the region.
