Island Jams, Large Flowerheads in Easton This Weekend

Also this weekend: An NAACP multicultural celebration, Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey at the State Theatre, and more...

Good morning everyone. The weekend is here, which means taking a look at some of the things that are happening around Easton.

1. Terra Cafe hosts its first ever outdoor concert Saturday at 3 p.m. Island Jams in the Alley will happen on Bank Street, just next to the cafe at 321 Northampton St., and features ReaLion, Echo Cellar Rockers, The New Kings of Rhythm, Trouble City All Stars, and more.

2. The Easton NAACP will host a multicultural celebration in Scott Park from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, featuring food for sale, live entertainment, and informational displays.

3. Maria Woodford and June Thomas provide the music for this week's Tunes at Noon concert Friday in Centre Square. 

4. Saturday at Rivals: The Large Flowerheads bring their '60s show to town, starting at 7:30 p.m.

5.  Temple Covenant of Peace hosts its monthly jam session/coffeehouse Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

6. Artist Karen Steen talks about her work Sunday at 2 p.m. at ConneXions.

7. Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey (AKA the "Peter and Paul" in Peter, Paul and Mary) will perform many of the group's classic hits Friday at 8 p.m. at the State Theatre.
