Lafayette Students Arrive, Movies in the Park This Week

Good morning everyone. It's the start of a new week, so let's take a look at what's happening over the next few days in Easton.

1. Easton's zoning hearing board meets Monday at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

2. The Sigal Museum will raise the 9/11 Memorial Flag—a flag made from 3,000 American flags representing the World Trade Center victims—Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

3. Lafayette College's freshman class has its orientation/move-in day Thursday.

4. Also Thursday: the city hosts its final Movies in the Park for the summer. The Pirates! Band of Misfits begins at 8:30 p.m.—weather permitting—at the Easton Area Community Center.

5. The city firefighters union continues its winter coat fundraiser Thursday. Eat/drink at Two Rivers Brewing, and 10 percent of what you pay goes to buy coats for a needy Easton area kid.
