Man Exposed Self to Cops, Threatened Judge, Police Say
Easton resident Michael Allen Merlo arrested in Bangor on disorderly conduct charge.

An Easton man was charged with disorderly conduct Wedensday morning after he allegedly exposed himself and cursed at police officers, urinated on police paperwork, and threatened a district judge.
Michael Allen Merlo, 43, of the 1400 block of Butler Street, was charged with disorderly conduct following an altercation with police in Bangor, court records say.
According to court records, police were called to a home in the 300 block of Northampton Street in Bangor around 2:45 a.m.

Police say officers found Merlo yelling at the owners of the home. Merlo was bleeding from his nose but declined medical attention.
Merlo allegedly began yelling at officers and telling them "Take me to jail." He then dropped his pants, police say, and was taken into custody.

The Express-Times notes that Merlo also urinated on paperwork and a table at central booking, and threatened and cursed at on-duty District Judge Joseph Barner during his arraignment.
Merlo was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
