A few months ago, Easton's Main Street Initiative unveiled a new mobile app that allows people to find downtown restaurants, businesses and attractions on their mobile phones.
Now, there's an app for people who don't use apps. Or cell phones.
This week, the EMI put up four directional signs around downtown Easton that provide visitors with a way to keep track of where they are and where they can find local businesses.
There's also information on where to park, and a link to the smartphone app.
The signs, made by JHM Signs in Alpha, NJ, were paid for by grants from HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Program and the Chamber of Commerce’s Main Street Lehigh Valley Community Improvement Grant.
You can find the signs:Â
- On South Third Street in front of the city parking garage.
- On North Third Street at the surface lot on the west side of the street.
- In front of the Sigal Museum at 342 Northampton Street.
- In front of the Grand Eastonian at 140 Northampton Street.
