Northampton Earns National Recognitions for Quality Care and Services
AHCA/NCAL Honors Easton, Pa., SNF with Silver – Achievement in Quality Award

Quality care and services at Northampton Post Acute are being recognized at the national level. The Easton skilled nursing center earned a Silver – Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The honor coincides with Northampton’s inclusion among America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025 by Newsweek.
AHCA/NCAL is the nation’s largest association of long-term and post-acute care providers. The Silver award represents the second of three distinctions possible through its National Quality Award Program, which acknowledges organizations that meet progressively rigorous standards of performance to further improve the lives of residents and staff in long term care.
Northampton received the AHCA/NCAL’s Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award in 2022. Now, as a 2024 Silver award recipient, the center can move on to the final and most prestigious level of the program, the Gold – Excellence in Quality Award. Trained examiners review each application to determine if the center has met the demands of criteria in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer and workforce, operations, and knowledge management.
