Police Hunting West Ward Burglar

Easton police are investigating a series of burglaries in the West Ward.

According to police, the burglar is getting into homes using front and rear doors, basements and first floor windows, and taking cash, jewelry and electronics.

In some cases, they were able to get into the homes through unlocked doors and windows. One burglary involved the burglar pushing in an air conditioner to come through a window.

Police say they're looking for a white man in his thirties, with a slender build, brown hair, a white mustache, wearing jeans and a t-shirt. 

Police say evidence is being processed in the burglaries.

"However, we want the public to be aware and alert with regard to these incidents," Inspector Daniel Reagan said a in a news release. "Hopefully help from the public will assist with preventing future incidents and expediting a resolution to the previous incidents."
