Powerball Jackpot Hits $400M: Buy Tickets in Easton
Grab a Powerball ticket while you're out running errands today and get in on a chance to win $400 million.

After two lottery drawings with no winner, Wednesday's Powerball has climbed to $400 million.
The odds of winning are 1 in 175 million, meaning you're more likely to have identical quadruplets or die from a bee, wasp or hornet sting.
Four-hundred million is a pretty staggering figure, but it's not the largest Powerball on record.
That honor goes to the $600 million drawing in May, won by Florida resident Gloria Mackenize. After taking a lump sum payout and paying taxes, she took home roughly $270 million.
No one from Easton has been that lucky (yet), although a Wilson gas station did sell a $1 million lottery ticket earlier this year.

Here's How to Play Powerball, according to the PA Lottery:
- Visit your PA Lottery retailer and pick up a Powerball Lottery playslip. Each game is $2. For an additional dollar, you can select the Powerball Power Play® option.
- Play up to five panels on your Powerball playslip. On each game panel, select five numbers from 1 to 59 in the top grid, and select one number from 1 to 35 in the bottom grid – that’s your Powerball number! Or, select the quick pick option to have your numbers randomly selected by the computer.
- Be sure to check your Powerball ticket as soon as you receive it to verify that the information is correct and legible.
