'Remorseful' Robber Gives Back Some Loot

Timothy Smith took Ethan Voice's wallet under violent threats last Friday, but returned him $5 cash before using his credit cards.

A man robbed outside an Easton Wawa says the thief gave him back $5 before running away last Friday.

Ethan Voice, the victim of the robbery, said that the suspect, 38-year-old Timothy T. Smith, of Arlington, Virginia, demanded his wallet and then gave him $5 from it.

“Almost like he was remorseful,” Voice told the Express-Times.
